Hopes for the team:
I'm really excited about PCI teams in general this summer but especially about Ballyholme. I hope it will be a team where everyone feels valued, appreciated and encouraged. Where every member will be allowed to grow deeper in their faith and dependence on God in every aspect of their lives and witness. Allowing them to leave the team with new skills and a fuller knowledge of the love and provision of God. Also that the team would be an amazing witness to the church and children in Ballyholme. Demonstrating the compassion and power of Jesus and witnessing with lives that live up to our calling. Throughout the week I hope the children grow to understand more about God's word and how they can have a real relationship with him.
My Aim For The Team:
While on Ballyholme I will to strive to serve God whole-heartedly and place others before myself. To be an encourager and a support to other team members, seeking to do God's will in every situation regardless of the cost. To fully surrender myself to the will of God and uplift those carrying out His work. To be encouraged by all God's blessings and to continue learning more about Him every day.
Verse:
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross!"
Philippians 2 v 3-8
